How to Use It
Set the V tip on the soil, grip the shaft with both hands and step down hard; the serrations bite as the blade sinks. When you hit a root, rock the blade side to side so the teeth saw through it rather than forcing it straight down. Lever back on the long handle to lift the soil and cut roots free. For trenching, take overlapping slices along your line and pull each one out. For dividing perennials, drive the blade straight through the crown and lift each half. Rinse the blade and dry it after use, and store it hung up so the edge stays sharp.
