Description
Turn one sprinkler riser into a six-plant drip zone with the Rain Bird EMT-6XERI 6-Outlet Drip Manifold. The compact plastic head threads onto a 1/2 in. riser with its 1/2 in. FPT inlet and fans out into six free-flowing 1/4 in. barb outlets arranged around the body. Each outlet ships sealed with a plastic cap, so you open only the ports you need and leave the rest closed for later. Run 1/4 in. distribution tubing from each open barb to a container, shrub or perennial and water six plants from a single connection.

How to Use It
Unscrew the old spray head from a 1/2 in. riser, thread the drip manifold on in its place and snug it by hand. Pull the cap from each outlet you plan to use, push 1/4 in. XQ distribution tubing onto the barb and run it to the root zone of the plant, ending with the emitter, micro-spray or bubbler that suits it. Leave unused outlets capped so no water is wasted. Install a 150 mesh filter and a pressure regulator ahead of the zone to keep the manifold within its 15 to 50 psi range. As plantings change, swap caps and tubing around rather than re-plumbing the riser. Flush the lines each spring before restarting the system.
