This compact plastic hand tool seats Xeri-Bug emitters and PC Modules straight into the side wall of 1/2 in. or 3/4 in. drip tubing, XF Dripline or Landscape Dripline, so you skip the thumb-bruising push-and-twist that slows a drip install. Use the same tool to pull an emitter back out, set 1/4 in. barbed fittings and plug a stray hole with a goof plug, and a bed that used to take an afternoon comes together before lunch.

How to Use It
Set the emitter on the end of the tool, press the barbed point into the side of the tubing, then pull the tool straight back so the emitter stays embedded. Push 1/4 in. distribution tubing onto the emitter outlet and run it to the plant. To relocate an emitter, hook it with the side of the tool and lever it out, then close the old hole with a goof plug set from the bottom of the tool. Keep the Xeriman tool in the same bucket as your barbed elbows, couplings and self-piercing connectors, since all of Rain Bird’s stemmed 1/4 in. fittings are designed to be driven with it. Rinse off grit after a muddy job so the tip stays sharp.
