Description
Run drip emitters exactly where your plants need water with Rain Bird’s XQ100 1/4″ distribution tubing — a 100-foot coil of the strongest, most flexible quarter-inch tubing in the Xerigation lineup. A proprietary polymer blend gives it the easy flexibility of vinyl with the firm hold of poly, so it snakes around tight beds and curves without kinking, then grips barbed outlets and emitters tightly enough to stay put under pressure. Extruded from UV-resistant polyethylene, it shrugs off sun and weather on surface installs season after season, and the new textured finish makes it easier to handle with wet or gloved hands.

What It Connects To
- Slips over barbed outlet ports on 1/2″ drip laterals, manifolds, and supply lines
- Works with all Rain Bird Xerigation emission devices — drippers, bubblers, micro-sprays, and micro-bubblers
- Joins with 1/4″ transfer fittings, tees, couplings, and barbed elbows
Where to Use It
- Extending emitters from a buried 1/2″ supply line out to individual plants, pots, and hanging baskets
- Container gardens, raised beds, and patio planters where emitter placement has to be precise
- Shrub and flower beds, vegetable rows, and foundation drip kits
Install Tips
- The self-extracting coil feeds out as you pull — it stays coiled in the box, so there’s no tangle and no waste
- Cut clean, square ends with a sharp tubing cutter for a leak-free push onto barbs and emitters
- Warm a stiff end in the sun or in warm water for an easier push onto fittings in cold weather
- Keep operating pressure at or below 60 psi; add a pressure regulator on higher-pressure supply lines
