Description
Drop a splash of cardinal red between the beds with the Regal Art & Gift Cardinal Stepping Stone. This 12" round stone is molded from thick recycled rubber, with a raised red cardinal perched on a leafy green branch against a black ground and a thin red ring around the rim. The embossed design gives a little grip underfoot, and the rubber will not crack, chip or shift the way cast concrete can in freeze-thaw weather. At about half an inch thick it sits low to the soil or mulch so it is easy to step onto and easy to mow around.

How to Install It
Set the stone directly on level soil, mulch or gravel, pressing it down so the edges sit flush and do not catch a toe. For a path, space stones a comfortable stride apart, about 18 to 24 inches from center to center, and stagger them slightly for a natural line. Use one stone alone at the base of a bird feeder or beside a birdbath where cardinals visit, or mix it with the Sun Stepping Stone for a varied walkway. Lift and rinse it each spring, and reset it if frost has heaved the ground beneath.
