How to Use

Adjust the amount to the individual horse. Mature horses in light exercise take 0.40 to 0.60 pounds per 100 pounds of body weight daily, heavy work calls for 0.55 to 0.75 pounds, and very heavy work 0.65 to 1.20 pounds. Lactating mares take 0.75 to 1.10 pounds, and senior or rescue horses 0.60 to 1.25 pounds, using the higher end on diets with minimal hay. A quart weighs about 1.15 pounds.
