Description

Keep a spare anchor point on hand for every strap, tarp and tote in the barn with the Service Tool 10 PC D-Ring Assortment. Ten D-rings in four sizes sit in a hinged clear clamshell case with divided compartments, so the 50 mm rings you reach for most stay separate from the larger 60, 70 and 80 mm sizes. A D-ring gives webbing, rope or leather a smooth, rounded bar to loop through and a flat side to sew or rivet against. Stock this Tool City hardware assortment for strap repairs, gear bags, tarp tie-downs and pet gear projects.

Key Features

  • Four sizes in one case: four 50 mm rings for light straps, plus two each of 60, 70 and 80 mm for wider webbing and heavier loads.
  • D-ring shape: the flat side lies against a strap or panel while the curved side gives a clip, carabiner or rope a clean place to catch.
  • Repair-ready hardware: replace a bent ring on a halter, tool belt or duffel without hunting for a matching size.
  • Organized storage: the divided clamshell case shows the contents through the lid and hangs on a peg or drops into a tool bag.
  • About Service Tool: Tool City is the house label of Service Tool Co., LLC, a supplier of hardware, fastener and electrical assortments packed in reusable clamshell cases under the promise of quality, value and satisfaction guaranteed.

How to Use It

Measure the inside width of your webbing or strap first, then pick the ring whose flat side is just wider than the material so it lies flat. Fold the strap end through the ring, then sew, rivet or bolt the fold back onto itself to lock the ring in place. On tarps and canvas covers, mount a ring on a webbing loop rather than through the fabric alone so the load spreads out. Use the larger 70 and 80 mm rings as tie-down points for cargo straps and the 50 mm rings for leashes, bag handles and tool pouches. Inspect rings after heavy use and swap any that show bending.

Four 50 mm rings, two 60 mm rings, two 70 mm rings and two 80 mm rings, each size in its own compartment of the clamshell case.
Match the ring to the width of your strap or webbing. Choose a ring whose flat side is slightly wider than the material so the strap lies flat and does not bunch.
Feed the strap end through the ring, fold it back on itself and sew, rivet or bolt the fold. For tarps, mount the ring on a webbing loop so the load spreads instead of tearing the fabric.
Yes. The 50 mm rings suit leashes, collars and small pouches, while the larger sizes work for halters, bags and tie-down straps. Check the ring after heavy pulls and replace it if it bends.
