How to Install It

Pick the anchor by the screw gauge you plan to use, then drill a hole the same diameter as the anchor body and deep enough for its full length. Tap the anchor in flush, hold the bracket in place and drive the screw until it draws tight; stop as soon as it seats, since over-driving spins the anchor in its hole. Use the 1" screws with the smaller anchors for curtain brackets, towel rings and light shelves, and the 1-1/4" screws with the E7 and E8 anchors for coat hooks, closet shelving and heavier brackets.

Match the anchor size to the screw gauge: the smaller E5 and E6 anchors with #6 and #8 screws, and the larger E7 and E8 anchors with the #8 and #10 x 1-1/4" screws. Test-fit before drilling.
Drill a hole the same diameter as the anchor body and at least as deep as the anchor is long, then tap the anchor in flush before driving the screw.
