How to Use It
Back the old fitting out with a small wrench, clean the threads and check whether the port takes an M6 or M8 thread by test-fitting a straight fitting by hand. Thread the new zerk in finger tight, snug it with a wrench, then pump grease until fresh grease shows at the joint to confirm the ball check is open. Choose a 45 degree or 90 degree head anywhere the grease gun coupler cannot line up straight, such as steering knuckles, mower deck spindles, loader pins and implement hitches. Keep the case with the grease gun so a stripped or plugged fitting never stalls the job.
