How to Use It

Locate solid wood, such as a stud, joist, rafter or the frame of a cabinet, and drill a pilot hole slightly smaller than the threaded shank. Twist the hook or eye in by hand until the threads disappear and the shoulder seats against the wood. Use the 3-1/2" hooks in ceiling joists for bicycles and coiled hose, the 2-1/2" hooks along a workbench for extension cords, and the 1-1/2" hooks under a shelf for measuring cups and small tools. Pair two screw eyes with a length of chain to hang a planter, or run picture wire between two 1" eyes on a frame back. Do not overload small sizes.
