Description

A little goes a long way with Sevin Insect Killer Concentrate. Measure it, mix it with water in the sprayer you already own, and protect your garden, flower beds and lawn from more than 500 listed insect pests. The liquid concentrate is formulated for ornamental and edible gardens alike, so the same bottle can handle aphids on the roses, Japanese beetles on the shrubs and ants along the foundation. Each application keeps working for up to three months, and the built-in measuring cap makes it easy to mix exactly the right amount for the job in front of you. Choose the pint for spot work through the season or the quart when you are covering real ground.

Key Features

  • Kills more than 500 listed insects by contact, including ants, aphids, armyworms, Japanese beetles, stink bugs, caterpillars, whiteflies, earwigs and spiders
  • Keeps protecting for up to 3 months on treated areas, except fire ants, fleas, ticks and mosquitoes
  • Won't harm plants or blooms when used as directed on lawns, vegetables, flowers, fruits, trees and shrubs
  • Built-in measuring cap takes the guesswork out of mixing
  • Works in a hand-held, hose-end or tank-type sprayer, so one bottle covers spot jobs and whole beds
  • Choose the 16 oz pint for a season of spot treatments, or the 32 oz quart to cover a full property
  • Backed by a guaranteed-results-or-your-money-back promise from GardenTech

How to Use

  • Shake the bottle well, then remove the measuring cap and fill it to the amount you need.
  • Pour the measured concentrate into your sprayer and add the matching amount of water. The label rate is 4 fluid ounces per gallon of water.
  • Close the sprayer tightly and pressurize it with the hand pump.
  • Use a coarse spray nozzle for spot treatments and a fan nozzle for larger areas, holding the wand about 12 inches from the target.
  • Apply early or at the first sign of insect damage, in calm weather between 60°F and 80°F.
  • Do not spray open blooms, and wait at least 24 hours after a lawn application before watering.
  • People and pets may return to the treated area once the spray has dried.

The label application rate is 4 fluid ounces of concentrate per gallon of water. That mixture treats up to 2,000 square feet of lawn. Always check the product label for the specific rate that applies to your plant or pest.
Both sizes are the same formula. The 16 oz pint mixes four gallons of finished spray and suits spot treatments; the 32 oz quart mixes eight gallons, enough for roughly 16,000 square feet of lawn, and means fewer refills through the peak of the season.
Sevin Insect Killer Concentrate keeps protecting treated areas for up to 3 months. The exception is fire ants, fleas, ticks and mosquitoes, which have shorter residual control periods listed on the label.
People and pets may re-enter a treated area as soon as the spray has dried. For lawn applications, wait at least 24 hours before watering the treated turf.
Sevin Insect Killer Concentrate is a non-staining formulation. GardenTech recommends testing a small area of siding first. This product is registered for outdoor use only and should not be applied indoors, on bedding, on carpets or on pets.
