Description
Add a jolly snowman to the tree with the Sunset Vista Designs Farm Fresh Snowman Christmas Ornament. Cut from galvanized corrugated tin, the snowman wears a black top hat and a patterned green and red scarf, and his belly panel carries the line "Christmas, the time of the year it’s good to be fat and jolly." A distressed black and silver paint finish gives it a farmhouse look, and a wire loop hanger with a red faceted bead sits at the top of the hat. Part of the Farm Fresh Christmas collection, it measures approximately 6" tall.
Key Features
- Corrugated tin snowman: Galvanized metal body with a distressed black and silver finish.
- Top hat and scarf: Black top hat and a patterned green and red scarf give him a dressed-up look.
- Jolly sentiment: Belly panel reads Christmas, the time of the year it’s good to be fat and jolly.
- Wire loop hanger: Attached wire loop with a red faceted bead hangs it straight from the box.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Hang it on the Christmas tree by its wire loop, or slip it into a wreath, a mantel garland or a swag along the stair rail. At about 6" tall it also works on a hook in the kitchen, tied to a gift or leaning on a shelf with greenery and pinecones. Handle it by the edges, wipe it with a soft dry cloth and keep it out of water. After the holidays, wrap it in tissue or return it to its box so the painted finish stays sharp. Collect it with the Farm Fresh cat, camper and truck ornaments from Sunset Vista Designs for a coordinated farmhouse tree.
A Thoughtful Gift
A snowman with a sense of humor makes a good ornament exchange pick, stocking stuffer or small gift for a coworker, teacher or neighbor who decorates in farmhouse style. It hangs from its wire loop, no hook needed.
