Description
Replace a worn or missing lower-link pin on a Category 2 implement with the SpeeCo Lift Arm Draw Pin Category 2 Universal Adjustable. The pin is plated steel in a yellow zinc finish, with a long threaded shank, two nuts and two washers behind the pin head. Because the nuts run the length of the shank, you can set the pin at whatever depth the implement bracket needs, which is what makes it universal. Once tightened, it gives a Cat. 2 lower lift arm a solid post to drop over and lock to with a lynch pin.
Key Features
- Category 2 sizing: Built for the lower lift arms of Cat. 2 three-point hitches on mid-size utility tractors.
- Universal adjustable mount: Double nuts and washers on the threaded shank let you position the pin to suit different bracket thicknesses and offsets.
- Yellow zinc plated steel: The dichromate plating resists rust on an implement that sits outside between jobs.
- Lift arm draw pin, sold singly: Replace one damaged pin or buy two to refit both sides of an implement.
- About SpeeCo: SpeeCo, the brand behind the older Farmex hitch parts, makes three-point hitch pins, top links and tractor hardware for farm equipment.
How to Install It
Pull the old pin and clean the implement bracket so the new washer seats flat. Slide the threaded shank through the bracket, put a washer and nut on each side as needed, and adjust the pin so its shoulder sits where the lift arm ball will ride without binding. Snug the first nut, then tighten the second against it as a jam nut. Hitch by lowering the tractor’s lift arms over the pin and locking it with a lynch pin through the cross hole. Match the pin to your tractor by confirming the hitch category before ordering. Recheck the nuts after the first use.
