Description

Apply SRW water-based paver sealers seamlessly and evenly with the SRW Products Slit Foam Roller. The signature yellow slit-foam cover stays spongy throughout the job — it doesn’t compress under a wet sealer load — so coverage stays consistent on both smooth and textured hardscape surfaces. The slit pattern releases a controlled, lap-mark-free film that levels into joints and surface texture without flooding.

Specifications

  • Type: Slit-foam paint/sealer roller cover
  • Color: Yellow
  • Use With: SRW water-based paver sealers — HG, LG, PS, PSX, SGX

  • Compression: Stays spongy — will not compress under sealer load
  • Application: Spray, then back-roll — the standard SRW two-person sealing method

Why a Slit Foam Roller?

  • Even, lap-mark-free finish: the slit pattern releases sealer in a controlled film that levels itself into texture
  • Texture-friendly: works the sealer down into recessed surface texture, paver chamfers, and pitted natural stone — areas that flat foam or nap rollers miss
  • No compression collapse: stays spongy across a full pail without flattening, so the last patio gets the same finish as the first
  • Pair with the SRW sprayer: spray to deposit sealer, then back-roll with this slit foam to even out coverage
  • For solvent-based sealers, switch rollers: use the Slit Foam Roller X-Treme (black) for SRW solvent-based sealers like HGX High Gloss X-treme and DG Dual Guard

Application

  1. Verify sealer compatibility: this roller is designed for water-based sealers (HG, LG, PS, PSX, SGX). For solvent-based sealers, use the Slit Foam Roller X-Treme.
  2. Mount the roller on a standard 9″ roller frame.
  3. Spray sealer onto the surface per the sealer’s instructions, working from the high point downhill.
  4. Back-roll immediately with the slit foam roller to even out coverage and work sealer into texture — do not let sealer pool.
  5. Cleanup: rinse with water immediately after use (water-based sealers only). Dry the roller before storage; replace if foam tears or compresses.

Tips

  • Two-person application is recommended — one sprays, one back-rolls.
  • Don’t over-saturate the roller; let it pick up sealer from what’s already on the surface.
  • Keep a spare roller on hand for jobs larger than one pail — foam wears as it absorbs cured sealer residue.
