Description
Bring lake-cabin charm to the porch with the Sunset Vista Designs Welcome to the Woods Rowboat Birdhouse. A weathered wooden rowboat stands on end with a red-painted bow, whitewashed planking, a round entrance and a hand-lettered "Fishing Gear" sign. Two little paddles, a blue anchor, a fishing pole, a net with a pink fish and a tin bucket fill the hull, and natural straw grass and moss trim the sides. It measures 5.51" x 3.5" x 10.15" and hangs from an attached jute twine loop or stands on a post or pedestal.
Key Features
- Handcrafted detail: Paddles, anchor, pole, net, buckets and a Fishing Gear sign, with straw grass and moss along the sides.
- Top entrance, rear cleanout: A round portal on the front and a door on the back so the inside can be cleared out.
- Ready to display: Sturdy jute twine is attached for hanging, and the flat bottom stands on a pedestal or post.
- Decorative piece: Made for dry, covered spots such as a porch, sunroom or cabin shelf rather than open weather.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Hang it from a hook on a covered porch, a screened room or a boathouse wall where it stays dry, or set it on a mantel, a windowsill or the top of a fence post under an overhang. It is decorative and not meant for rain and snow, so keep it out of open weather and bring it indoors for the winter. Clean it with a damp or dry cloth; the straw and moss trim should stay dry. Group it with other Sunset Vista Designs Welcome to the Woods birdhouses and cabin decor for a lakeside theme on the porch.
A Thoughtful Gift
Rowboat birdhouses make a fitting housewarming, birthday or anniversary gift for lake enthusiasts, anglers and anyone who spends summer weekends at the cabin. It arrives ready to hang from its jute loop or stand on a shelf.
