Description
Point the way to fall with the Sunset Vista Designs Harvest Blessings Sunflower Directional Garden Stake. A distressed yellow metal sunflower head tops a rust-brown post trimmed with leaf accents, and three painted arrow signs hang below it reading "Sunflower Field," "Market" and "Apple Orchard." A two-prong foot at the base pushes into soil or a planter and holds it steady. Made of painted metal that is designed to weather and rust over time for rustic charm, it stands approximately 42" tall and 10" wide, part of the Harvest Blessings collection.
Key Features
- Metal sunflower topper: Distressed yellow sunflower head crowns the post.
- Three directional signs: Painted arrows read Sunflower Field, Market and Apple Orchard.
- Rustic post: Rust-brown stake with leaf accents, made to weather and rust for a farm-stand look.
- Two-prong foot: Twin prongs at the base push into the ground and keep the stake upright.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Push the two-prong foot into a flower bed, a large planter of mums or the soil beside a front walk, and turn the arrows to point toward the porch, the pumpkin display or the garden gate. It stands well among cornstalks and hay bales at the door, next to the mailbox or at the end of a driveway for fall visitors. Firm the soil around the prongs and check it after a windy day. The finish is meant to weather and rust, so leave it out through the season and just wipe off mud with a damp cloth. Pair it with other Sunset Vista Designs Harvest Blessings stakes and fall garden art for a full harvest scene.
A Thoughtful Gift
Sunflower fans, farm-stand shoppers and anyone who decorates the porch for fall will find a spot for it. It makes an easy housewarming or hostess gift in September and October, and pairs well with a pot of mums.
