Description
Deepen the color of your concrete pavers and natural stone — without the high-gloss film — with the Techniseal CB+ Paver Sealer Color Boost. This water-based, penetrating sealer drives into the pore structure of porous pavers and stone, creates an imperceptible stain-guard shield, and enhances the natural color depth without leaving a slick film on top. The matt, non-film-forming finish is ideal for slip-prone surfaces like pool decks, walkways, and shaded patios where high-gloss sealers create a hazard.
Product Code: 60301612 · Available in: 1 Gallon (also available from Techniseal in 5-gallon pail, code 60301611)
What It Does
- Boosts original paver color: deepens the saturated tone the manufacturer intended — without changing the paver’s look beyond a richer color
- Penetrating formula: drives into the substrate; no film on top — ideal for slip-prone surfaces (pool decks, stair treads, shaded walkways)
- Stain guard: repels pollutants, oil, and food-based contaminants so they wipe off rather than soak in
- Water-based: eco-friendly, no disagreeable fumes, easy water cleanup of tools
- Matt finish: color enhancement without gloss — the natural look
- Easier surface care: sealed pavers stay cleaner longer between maintenance washes

Why CB+ Color Boost vs a Film-Forming Sealer?
- No slip: the penetrating formula leaves no slick film on top — safer for pool decks, stair treads, and shaded surfaces
- Natural look: matt color enhancement without the wet-look gloss
- UV stable: won’t yellow over time the way some film-forming sealers do
- Re-coatable: reapplies cleanly without needing to strip an old film first
- For high-gloss wet-look: consider Techniseal’s wet-look sealer family instead
Application
- Wait at least 28 days for new pavers to cure before sealing.
- Prep the surface: remove stains and residues with the appropriate Techniseal Specialty cleaner (CDX, Paver Prep, etc.); then clean the entire area with Techniseal Paver Prep for uniform sealing results.
- Wait 24 hours after cleaning so the surface and joints are fully dry.
- Stir thoroughly before use. Don’t shake.
- Apply with a pump sprayer or low-pressure roller. Work from the highest elevation downhill.
- Avoid pooling. If product puddles in joints, brush it out within 5 minutes.
- Cure for 24 hours; protect from rain. Vehicle traffic after 72 hours.
- Reapply every 3–5 years to maintain stain protection.
Tips
- Two-person application is recommended — one sprays, one back-rolls or brushes out joints
- Always test in an inconspicuous area before sealing the full project
- Pair with Techniseal NS or HD polymeric sand for a complete paver-install system
