Why Techniseal Rust Stain Remover?

  • Targeted action — treat the stain, not the whole surface
  • Pro formulation — the choice for hardscape contractors handling fertilizer-bleed and rebar bleed callbacks
  • Surface-friendly — restores color without abrasive grinding when used as directed
  • Sealer-ready finish — rinse clean, let dry, and seal without residue interference

Application

  1. Test in an inconspicuous area first to confirm surface compatibility — especially on natural stone.
  2. Pre-wet adjacent landscaping with clean water to dilute any runoff.
  3. Apply directly to the rust stain per label directions. Work on a cool surface out of direct sun.
  4. Light scrub with a nylon brush if needed.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Re-rinse adjacent vegetation.
  6. Repeat on stubborn or deeply embedded stains.

Tips

  • Wear gloves and eye protection — this is an acidic cleaner
  • Do not mix with bleach or other cleaners
  • Best used on bare (unsealed) substrates — sealed surfaces should have the sealer stripped first
  • Older stains may need 2–3 applications for full removal
  • Seal pavers after cleaning to help reduce future staining
