Application
- Test in an inconspicuous area first to confirm surface compatibility — especially on natural stone.
- Pre-wet adjacent landscaping with clean water to dilute any runoff.
- Apply directly to the rust stain per label directions. Work on a cool surface out of direct sun.
- Light scrub with a nylon brush if needed.
- Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Re-rinse adjacent vegetation.
- Repeat on stubborn or deeply embedded stains.
Tips
- Wear gloves and eye protection — this is an acidic cleaner
- Do not mix with bleach or other cleaners
- Best used on bare (unsealed) substrates — sealed surfaces should have the sealer stripped first
- Older stains may need 2–3 applications for full removal
- Seal pavers after cleaning to help reduce future staining
