Description
Hang a little mischief on the tree with the Sunset Vista Designs The Elf Made Me Do It Cat Christmas Ornament. A black-and-white striped cat in a red Santa hat sits with a galvanized tin belly panel that reads "The Elf Made Me Do It" in red and black lettering. Green and red mini baubles dangle from the cat, and a wire loop hanger topped with a red faceted bead finishes it off. Cut from painted corrugated metal with a distressed finish, it is part of the Farm Fresh Christmas collection and measures approximately 5.25" tall.
Key Features
- Striped cat in a Santa hat: Black-and-white striped metal cat with a red Santa hat and a knowing look.
- Cheeky sentiment: Galvanized tin belly panel reads The Elf Made Me Do It in red and black.
- Dangling baubles: Green and red mini ornament accents hang from the cat for extra sparkle.
- Wire loop hanger: Attached wire loop with a red faceted bead hangs it straight from the box.
- Sunset Vista Designs: A family-run outdoor decor company that has been designing whimsical garden art, wind chimes and hanging decor for garden centers since the 1990s.
Where to Display It
Hang it on the Christmas tree by its wire loop, or tuck it into a wreath, a mantel garland or a swag over the doorway. The flat corrugated metal profile sits neatly against branches and looks good hung from a cabinet knob, a hook by the cat food bowls or a ribbon on a gift. Handle it by the edges and store it in its box or wrapped in tissue after the holidays so the painted finish and the small baubles stay bright. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth rather than water. Collect it with the Farm Fresh snowman, camper and truck ornaments from Sunset Vista Designs for a matching set on the tree.
A Thoughtful Gift
This one is made for the cat person on your list who knows exactly who knocked the ornaments off the tree. It suits stocking stuffers, ornament exchanges and a small gift for a friend, coworker or neighbor with a cat.
