Feeding Directions
Feed alongside forage by body weight: about 3 to 4 lb per day for a 600 lb horse with 9 to 12 lb of forage, 4 to 9 lb at 900 lb with 13.5 to 18 lb of forage, 5 to 11 lb at 1,100 lb with 16.5 to 22 lb of forage, and 6 to 12.5 lb at 1,300 lb with 19.5 to 26 lb of forage. Adjust up or down to hold the body condition you want, and if you feed less than the recommended amount, top the diet off with a Triple Crown balancer. Do not feed more than 0.5% of body weight in a single meal, and allow 3 to 4 hours between meals at that rate. Keep salt and fresh, clean water available at all times.
