Feeding Directions
Feed daily at whatever rate maintains optimum body condition for your horse, and never feed more than 5 lb at a single meal — split larger amounts and allow 3 to 4 hours between meals. Because straight oats are not fortified, pair them with Triple Crown Balancer or Triple Crown Balancer Gold at 1 to 1.5 lb per day per 1,000 lb of body weight so vitamins and minerals stay in balance. Always provide good quality hay or pasture at a minimum of 1.5% of body weight per day, plus salt and plenty of fresh, clean water. Store the bag somewhere cool and dry, check it daily, and discard any feed that is old, moldy, or insect damaged.
