Feeding Directions
To supplement hay or pasture, feed a 1,000 lb horse 4 to 6 lb per day. To use the cubes as a complete hay replacement, feed 1.5 to 2% of body weight daily, split across meals. For older horses, horses with poor teeth, or any horse prone to choke, soak the cubes in warm water until they loosen into a mash. Offer them in a feed tub, preferably at ground level. Provide salt and plenty of fresh, clean water at all times, keep the bag in cool, dry storage, examine the cubes daily, and do not use any that are old, moldy, or insect damaged.
