Description
Tuffy Gear Ring Dog Toy from VIP Products is a durable fleece dog toy built for the kind of interactive play that destroys ordinary plush. The Gear Ring is a scalloped fleece ring in a Camo Blue print with black webbing trim and a center hole your dog can grab through. Shaped like a gear with a center hole, it works as a frisbee, a tug toy, and a flyball training reward. Choose the Medium (Tuffy Jr) ring for dogs under 20 pounds or the Large (Tuffy Ultimate) ring for dogs over 20 pounds.
Key Features
- Multi-layer construction: Tuffy Jr toys are built from up to 3 layers: a soft fleece outer layer, 1 to 2 layers of industrial-grade luggage material, and a plastic inner coating, all sewn together into one super-strong layer with 2 rows of cross stitching and 2 rows of linear stitching, and finished with a protective black webbing trim around the edge. The Large ring is a Tuffy Ultimate, built from up to 4 layers: a soft fleece outer layer, 1 to 2 layers of industrial-grade luggage material, and a plastic inner coating, all sewn together into one super-strong layer with 2 rows of cross stitching and 2 rows of linear stitching, then finished with a protective black webbing trim.
- Tuff Scale 8 (Medium) / 9 (Large): Rated 8 (Medium) / 9 (Large) out of 10 for durability, made for dogs that whip, tug, and carry their toys for hours.
- Squeaker safety pockets: 3 squeakers in the Medium ring, 4 in the Large ring, each sewn into a protective pouch. Squeakers sit inside protective pouches, which gives you a safe window to take the toy away if your dog ever reaches the core.
- Soft edges: Soft edges will not hurt gums, so the toy is comfortable for tug and for carrying around the house.
- Washable and floats: Machine washable (air dry) and floats in water. Great for indoor play, backyard fetch, and pool games.
- Frisbee and tug in one: The flat gear shape flies for fetch and the center hole gives your dog a grip for tug.
Choose Your Size
The Medium ring is the Tuffy Jr Gear Ring, about 7.2 inches across and 1.2 inches thick with 3 squeakers, rated 8 on the Tuff Scale and sized for dogs under 20 pounds. The Large ring is the Tuffy Ultimate Gear Ring, about 11.8 inches across and 1.7 inches thick with 4 squeakers, rated 9 on the Tuff Scale with up to 4 layers of material, sized for dogs over 20 pounds. Both come in the same Camo Blue print.
How to Use
Flip the ring like a frisbee for fetch, hold one edge for tug, use it as a flyball reward, or float it in the pool for water retrieves. Tuffy and Mighty toys are interactive play toys, not chew toys. Supervise play, trim any loose threads as the toy wears, and discard the toy if your dog reaches the white stuffed core. No part of any dog toy should be ingested. Machine wash and air dry whenever it needs freshening up.
