How to Use It
Set the pot on a clean, dry spot in the loft where the birds pass often but where droppings cannot fall into it, such as a low shelf or the floor near the grit tray. Leave it out permanently so pigeons can take what they need, and check it every few days; brush off dust and discard any stone that has been fouled. When the block is picked down to the pot, drop in the refill. Keep it available alongside a loose grit such as red stone and a calcium grit so hens and youngsters can choose between them. Store the refill block dry until you need it.
