Description

Treat a runny, irritated eye the way it should be treated — clean it first, then soothe it. The Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Eye Care Kit pairs a 3 oz bottle of Antimicrobial Eye Wash with a 3 oz bottle of Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Gel for a simple, two-step approach to healthier eyes. Step one flushes the eye and surrounding tissue clean with the hypochlorous acid-based Eye Wash. Step two applies the Ophthalmic Gel to relieve irritation, remove debris, and control issues caused by allergies and other irritants.

That covers the eye problems you actually run into: pink eye symptoms, allergy irritation, cuts around the eyes, discharge, and tear stains. The gel is thicker than the wash, so it clings to the affected area and adds moisture where severe irritation needs longer contact. Neither product contains steroids or antibiotics, both are pH-balanced so they will not sting, and both are safe if licked or ingested. They are safe for all animals of all ages.

Key Features

  • Two-Step System: One 3 oz Antimicrobial Eye Wash plus one 3 oz Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Gel.
  • Flush, Then Soothe: The wash cleans and clears debris; the gel adheres and relieves irritation and inflammation.
  • Hypochlorous Technology: Powered by hypochlorous acid (0.010%) — no prescription required.
  • No Steroids or Antibiotics: Non-antibiotic formulas with no resistance concerns.
  • Safe If Licked or Ingested: pH-balanced, non-toxic, and non-irritating for animals of all ages.

How to Use

For best results, flush the affected eye with the Eye Wash each time before using the Ophthalmic Gel. Twist open the wash's dropper nozzle, gently flush the affected eye, and repeat two to three times daily until the condition is no longer visible. For daily maintenance, flush once daily. Then apply the Ophthalmic Gel to the eye two to three times daily until the condition clears. Seek veterinary care if you suspect a damaged cornea.

One 3 oz bottle of Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Eye Wash and one 3 oz bottle of Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Gel — a two-step system for cleaning and then soothing the eye.
Flush the affected eye with the Antimicrobial Eye Wash first, every time, then apply the Ophthalmic Gel. The wash cleans and clears debris; the gel adheres to the area to relieve irritation and inflammation.
The Eye Wash is a liquid solution that flushes and cleans the eye while relieving irritation. The Ophthalmic Gel is a more viscous, water-based gel that sticks to the affected area and adds moisture to help reduce symptoms of severe eye irritations.
No. Vetericyn Plus is a hypotonic solution and should not be used if the cornea is not intact. Only your veterinarian can determine whether it is safe in that situation.
There is no concern about the animal building resistance, which is a real issue in the animal industry. Repeated and extended use has no adverse consequences, and regulatory limits on antibiotic use do not apply to Vetericyn Plus products.
The Eye Wash can freeze and thaw without losing effectiveness, but the Ophthalmic Gel may no longer be effective after freezing. A frozen bottle may leak from expansion, the walls may collapse after thawing, or you may see evidence of ice in the solution.
