How to Use
Remove the torn fuse by unscrewing its Chicago screws. Fold one end of the new fuse through the crown buckle and the other end through the cheek ring of the halter. Align the holes, insert a screw post from the inside, thread the cap screw on from the outside and tighten with a screwdriver until snug. Check the screws every few weeks, since a screw that works loose can drop a fuse in the field, and replace any fuse that shows cracking or stretching. Keep the spare fuses dry and lightly oiled so the leather stays supple.
